There are different types of crane winches, differing in weight, power, speed and motor type. The crane’s motors and winches are controlled in several ways, from a direct connection to the mains supply through to operation with frequency inverters (drives), which can also be configured to suit the way the site works. A tower crane contains a large number of mechanical and electrical parts, such as motors, gearboxes, contactors, encoders, frequency inverters (drives) and more. RMA holds a varied stock of spare parts for the crane’s drive systems, which shortens the response time to any crane fault. RMA also repairs and overhauls motors, gearboxes and complete winches, and imports original spare parts for the range of crane models in use in Israel.
