The Ministry of Labour has issued new directives on limiting tower crane movement, both between cranes and between a crane and its surroundings. RMA markets and installs advanced anti-collision systems for collision prevention and zoning: computerised limiting systems based on software and dedicated sensors.
The system limits crane movement highly effectively, stopping the crane only when needed, and allows even greater efficiency: the operator can add a point and direct the crane back to it, the site manager can view the cranes on site and receive information based on a range of parameters, and a wind vane monitors strong winds, among many other capabilities.
This improves efficiency and safety on the job, especially on complex sites with various movement restrictions on the ground, or on sites where two or more cranes overlap.
